Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Responsibilities
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a robust business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration for IT services and products.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Use insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing industry contacts. Generate leads and cultivate relationships to expand the client base.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the specific requirements of potential clients. Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions that address client challenges.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties. Close deals and achieve sales targets within specified timelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business objectives and drive successful outcomes.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
